Service Philosophy

Deep Well is here to help the working poor and those who have temporarily fallen on hard times. It does not provide long term handouts, but rather a hand up that allows clients to get back on the road of life again.

 Services Provided

The Deep Well Project not only provides food for the hungry, but supports the well-being of the less fortunate with emergency needs in a variety of ways:

            Emergency Food for the hungry

            Rent and Utilities for those who are unable pay

             Repairs and furniture to make homes livable

             Life saving emergency prescription drugs

            Emergency Shelter for those who have lost      their homes

            Christmas and Thanksgiving meals and gifts

Services are, for the most part, provides by volunteers who deliver donated goods and services to those in need on the island.

Over 11,750 hours were logged by Deep Well Volunteers last year in their efforts to help our less fortunate local residents. Thanks to our Volunteers and Donors
